TEN SPOTS AROUND THE HOUSE TO SLAY DURING THE LOCKDOWN

Hi guys! Have you noticed what I am noticing? Slay queens have not been posting pictures on IG, and other social media recently. Is there a problem? Aha! Someone here is suggesting that the lockdown is forcing everyone to remain at home, so slay mamas have no access to any mansion in their ghettos to deceive us with anymore. Lol 

      On a more serious note, data has it that during this lockdown while phones and internet activities have increased by 75%, posting of pictures on social media has surprisingly reduced by 45%. This is no doubt owning to reduced or total halting of social and economic activities.

     What this has revealed so far is that the focus of most fashion activities is to impress other people and draw attention to ourselves. Thus, we deprive ourselves the full benefit of personal hygiene and close family members' admiration and appreciation. However, at last, that's what really matters. Looking your best at home most certainly gives the benefits of:

• Hygienic living,

• Safety from infections (such as COVID-19), and

• A happy home ultimately.

       So, let us consider ten (10) spots around your home where you can actually slay and take beautiful pictures to spice things up while you sit at home during the COVID-19 lockdown;

1. LIVING ROOM: for most people, this is the most beautiful spot in the house for taking pictures. You can sit or stand, use the television cabinet or even any spot you like. It is not about the sophistication of the room, but your photographic skill.

2. THE LAWN: this must not be a golf course or anything special. A lawn is any portion around the house or close by with low grasses. Never mind the deficiencies, your camera will straighten things up

3. THE LOBBY: not a usual place for pictures but the result is amazing. However, it is often a place of low light, so remember to turn on the night mode of your camera or adjust the aperture for better lighting.

4. STAIRCASE: the ascending stairs behind gives a beautiful effect like you have never imagined

5. KITCHEN OR OUTDOOR FIRE: one advantage of the lockdown is the opportunity to spend quality time with your family or partner. Take some fun pictures while experimenting a recipe or doing the dishes. You may choose to take a silhouette shot by night outdoor fire also

6. BY THE BOOKSHELF OR READING TABLE: this is the time to show your gorgeous book collection in the home library. For students, take some pictures while actually reading or pretending to be doing so. You may rather prefer to be at your reading table or playing PS 4 with your laptop or desktop. Just be creative

7. BY THE MIRROR: while some take mirror pictures, others may just want to look fashionable before the mirror for a snapshot

 8. YOUR BEDROOM OR BED SPACE: it will still come out amazingly even if your bed is not made. You may want your bed to show or just your favourite corner in your bedroom. Also, you may choose to wear your makeup or slay with your "team natural".
